KAFD is a fashion label. We call it #politicalfashion.
KAFD was founded by four friends. Indeed, out of an honest need to make a social contribution to our democracy.

KAFD stands for the preservation and strengthening of our democracy, for the preservation and strengthening of our Europe as a community of values. KAFD advocates for a benevolent coexistence among people.

Therefore, KAFD decisively and openly opposes the AfD:
No Alternative For Germany!

Like many people in our country, we observe with astonishment and concern the rise of right-wing populist parties and movements, primarily the AfD. What we do not want to become accustomed to in Germany, unfortunately, is also becoming a problem in some of our European neighboring countries (incidentally, also in countries outside of Europe): Right-wing populist, sometimes right-wing extremist parties and organizations are experiencing great popularity, increasingly also in elections.

We see our democratic values being challenged by expressions of group-related enmity, racism, and discrimination, by the clear exclusion and hostility towards vulnerable groups. With our label, we want to set a clear and unequivocal sign against this.

"With KAFD, we want to give a voice to the democratic majority. Together, we can show our stance.

As creatives, we know that freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and the observance of human rights are indispensable foundations for creative work. Good design, good art, good music, and good texts are based on human kindness, tolerance, and humane interaction, never on exclusion or marginalization.

We are concerned with the question of how design and art can actively counter the rightward shift in our society, what we as creative professionals can do to protect and strengthen our democracy and our Europe.

Perhaps we can achieve this with good design: So, we founded a fashion label and are starting with a small collection of very high-quality items.
KAFD is a fashion statement. KAFD is much more a political statement. That’s why KAFD is #politicalfashion."
